It hasn’t been a good start for Brisbane, and the pain could continue on Thursday night against Melbourne.
The Demons have played much better and find themselves in second position on the AFL ladder, which is a great place to be.
Playing at home is ideal, and we’re taking Melbourne to win comfortably.

7:40pm Western Bulldogs vs Essendon Bombers @ Marvel Stadium
We weren’t impressed with the Bulldogs last week, but we fancy their chances of beating the enigmatic Essendon on Friday.
The Bulldogs are one of the better teams at bouncing back from a loss, hence the current $1.44 odds to beat Essendon.
It could be a tight contest at halftime but expect the Bulldogs to pull away late.

1:45pm GWS Giants vs St Kilda Saints @ Manuka Oval
We were impressed with the way the GWS Giants battled back to beat Gold Coast on Sunday.
It was a gritty performance from a team that has eyes on the title, and beating St Kilda looks likely on Saturday.
The Saints are a solid team, but the Giants lead the way, and we think they’ll be too strong across the park.

The Blues are $1.22 favourites, which is short, but we’re taking Adelaide to cover the spread in what should be a close game.

The Suns gave up a lead against GWS last week, but we expect a bounce back performance against Hawthorn.

They have enough firepower to cover the –24.5 spread and producing the goods against Hawthorn will see their season get back on track.

They’re good enough to put Fremantle to the test through the middle of the field and set up easy scoring chances throughout the game.

An easy win for the Cats is incoming but covering a 55.5-point spread is what punters need to work out.
Teams have been pumping the Kangaroos, as they have over the last few years, and 2024 is no different for the cellar dwellers.
We expect Geelong to produce the goods and put up a big score on the visitors, who are battling the Eagles for the wooden spoon once again.
