Richmond was thrashed by the Lions last week, and that will be tough to bounce back from.
However, the Tigers are favoured to beat the Sydney Swans, who had a 54-54 draw against the Geelong Cats, but they blew plenty of chances to win.
We expect better from both teams, but we’re taking the value with the Swans.

The Bulldogs are a tough opponent, but we expect Collingwood to be too strong once again, and continue to lead the competition.
We will happily take the –12.5 again under similar circumstances.

The Lions were far too good for the Tigers last week and they will be far too good for the Eagles, who are dreadful.
There was improvement from the Eagles when losing 85-77 last week, but we can’t see that result happening again.
Take Brisbane to score a convincing win.

The Giants dug deep to score a 47-45 win over Melbourne last week, which is an excellent form guide against the Hawks.
Hawthorn had a chance to make a comeback against the Blues last week, but they weren’t able to keep it going in a disappointing 112-52 loss.
Punters get the Giants at –27.5, which is a fair line from bookmakers.

The Demons lost to GWS by two points in a low-scoring affair, but it was still an encouraging performance, especially against a team like St Kilda.
Take the –14.5, which could move to around –18 on game day.

The Power are $1.18 favourites to beat Gold Coast, who were average against Collingwood, and we don’t see them improving too much.
Even though bookmakers have the line at –31.5, the Power are good enough to cover.

It should be a field day for their goal scorers, who could put up a massive score line.

Adelaide is a tough team to beat, but take Essendon to bounce back.
