NRL ROUND 9 – EXPERT BETTING TIPS & ODDS

nrl-tips-round-9

After some great matches, tight games and some big upset victories in Round 8. All footy fans are looking forward to round 9. The Australian team was named this week for the ANZAC test, which will makes things interesting to see how these decisions have impacted on the players selected and those who are looking to push for selection in Mel Maninga’s 2017 World Cup Squad.

ROUND 9

BRONCOS $1.43 v Panthers $2.85

The Panthers lost a close game last week to the Eels and have not been able to find their early season form for the past few weeks. The Broncos have won, but only just in their last two games and will be looking to go 3 in a row for the first time this season. Broncos by 8

Rabbitohs $2.13 v Sea Eagles $1.75

The Rabbotohs have played well in the past couple of weeks and only missed out on the chocolates last week by a field goal and a few 50/50 calls. The Sea Eagles beat an in form Raiders outfit and will look to continue that for form this week. The young Sea Eagles team has been exceptional in patches this year with consistency the only ingredient lacking to be competition threats. Sea Eagles by 12

Cowboys $1.54 v Eels $2.55

The Eels played well last week and their combinations are starting to gel. They took home the two points last week and I think they will give the Cowboys a run for their money this week. The Cowboys players and fans will welcome back Jonathon Thurston this week. The injured Skipper and halfback will slot back in to his commanding role and lift the Cowboys. Cowboys by 4

Titans $1.22 v Knights $4.50

The Titans team have played some great football in their past two matches and with their injured regular stars returning last week showed they can be real competition threats. The Knights only win of the 2017 season has been against the Titians in round 2. The Knights have not performed the best since and are looking like cementing their spot for the wooden spoon early. I think this game will be closer than anticipated by the bookmakers, and the Knights with a head start could be worth a try. Titans by 4

Bulldogs $2.75 v Raiders $1.48

The Bulldogs have been the team this year to “just” loose on multiple occasions, some say it’s poor attitude, others say they are just unlucky. With Reynolds announcing he is leaving the club this week at season end it will be interesting how this will affect the team. The Raiders just lost to the Sea Eagles last weekend and will be the dominant team this week. I think the big Raiders outside back will be too tough to handle. Raiders by 12

Tigers $2.65 v Sharks $1.50

Coach Ivan Cleary is a breath of fresh air for the Tigers and has looked to of turned the side around. The Tigers beat the bulldogs last weekend and are looking to keep their run of success going. The Shark Lost against the Titans last weekend and will be extremely disappointed by this result. Shane Flannigan has had the boys working hard this week at training and they will get it together this weekend. Sharks by 10

Warriors $2.12 v Roosters $1.75

The Warriors lost to the Storm last week though looked strong. With the home crowd behind them this week it could be enough to lift the side and win. The Rooster had a tough ANZAC day match against the Dragons and won by a field goal. The Roosters will be battered and bruised and I’m not sure they can handle this two weeks in a row. Warriors by 4

Dragons $2.75 v Storm $1.48

The Dragons lost against the Roosters by 1 point last week and also lost Gareth Widdop for possibly 4- 6 weeks, which will harm their attacking power. The Storm looked good against the Warriors and will be confident heading into this weekends match. The storms defence will be too good. Storm by 8
