With only three games remaining in the regular season, the top eight still remains uncertain, with 10 teams still in consideration. The Raiders are currently 10th and sit only 2 wins away out of a finals birth, they will be looking to keep their winning streak alive in the final round to give themselves every opportunity for finals glory. The Panthers have maintained their winning ways, after taking victory over the Cowboys. The young side led by Nathan Cleary has jumped from 9th to 6th in recent weeks and will look to keep their momentum rolling into the finals. The Storm have all but secured the minor premiership and currently sit 6 points clear of their nearest rival on 38 points, a close match against one of their nearest rivals the Roosters over the weekend, proved why the storm will be the team to beat in 2017.
NRL ROUND 24
Eels $1.19 v Titans $4.70
The Eels were totally outclassed by the Knights last week, going down by 19 points. Some would say the Eels all but secured a finals spot, when they beat the Tigers two weeks ago. Though the loss to the Knights could prove crucial for their finals hopes, as another loss this weekend could see them drop to as low as 8th. The Titans defence has been extremely poor in the past 2 weeks conceding 96 points and only managing to score 16. There are rumours things are unsettled at the Gold Coast, I don’t see this situation improving with in a week. The Eels have a strong attacking side and will look to exploit the Titans all over the field with all of their attack weapons.

Rabbitohs $1.40 v Warriors $2.99
The Rabbitohs came out firing against the Bulldogs last weekend and scored 3 unanswered tries in the first half. The second half was a little slow as errors crept into their came, but they took home the points, convincingly winning 28 – 14. The Warriors have been disappointing the past couple of months, and are really struggling to find a way or even a will to win. Going down again at the hands of the Raiders by 20 points over the weekend, things are looking grim for the Warriors for the remainder of 2017. Both teams are out of finals contention and I believe the Rabbitohs will be fighting hard for victory.

Broncos $1.30 v Dragons $3.54
The Broncos simply out played the Sharks to win 32 – 10. The Broncos currently sit in second place on the NRL ladder and If they keep playing like they did on the weekend, could threaten the other top 8 sides for a grand final position. The Dragons are playing for their season. They once sat in the top spot this year and surprised everyone with their form. A few close losses and upsets have costs the Dragons an almost certain finals spot. This will be a tough game for both sides but I think the Broncos experience and structure will get them home.

Knights $4.75 v Storm $1.19
The Knights have played some fantastic footy and won some great games over the past month and shouldn’t be taken lightly by any side and the Eels found out last week. The Knights have settled, started to gel and reduced their errors and completed their sets and have shown a glimmer of hope to their loyal followers or 2018. The Storm are definitely the team to beat and the bookmakers are backing them in as strong premiership favourites with the odds currently sitting at $2.25. The Storm will be far to clinical for the Knights and will win comfortably.
Storm by 24 (BET NOW with Sportsbet)
Roosters $1.24 v Tigers $4.10
The Roosters lost a tight game to the Storm over the weekend, with the Storms decision to take 3 penalty goals at crucial times being the difference. The Rooster will bounce back from this loss and come out all guns blazing against the Tigers. The Tigers made a brilliant second half come back against the Sea Eagles to take out a 30 – 26 point victory. The Tigers started slow but a couple of crucial intercepts change the momentum in their favour. The Tigers will be competitive, but I think the Rooster will be too good.

Sharks $1.58 v Cowboys $2.39
Both sides will enter this match after loosing their previous games. The Sharks got handed a 22 point flogging by the Broncos and the Cowboys lost in a tight match against the Panthers. The Cowboys side keep dropping, with injuries and we expect to have a few fresh faces take the field for the Cowboys this weekend. The Sharks slid down to 4th position on the ladder and a loss here could potentially see them slide into 8th position. With Both teams playing to keep their finals hopes alive, we expect a tough fast match. I think the Shark experience will be the difference.

Raiders $1.57 v Panthers $2.42
The Raiders have been on fire in recent weeks and are looking to secure a very late top 8, finals birth in 2017. The Raiders outplayed and outclassed the Warriors and secured a 20 point victory. The odds for the Panthers are a little but unfair as the young side as played out of their skin in the past few weeks to have themselves currently sitting in 6th position. The Panthers will use this a motivation being labelled the outsider, to come out bigger and better than last week. A win in this match could see the Panthers elevated to a top 4 position.

Bulldogs $3.85 v Sea Eagles $1.27
The Bulldogs season is over and the only thing they are fighting for now is finishing as high on the ladder as possible. The Bulldogs lost to the Rabbitohs on Thursday night and will be well rested heading into this clash with the Sea Eagle, who gave up a 20- 6 half time lead. To loose 30-26 in the final minutes. The Sea Eagles need to win this weekend to maintain their position in the top 8 and I believe they will come out full of enthusiasm and have learnt from their mistake against the Tigers.
