Round 18 is another bye round for teams ahead of the Origin decider. The Broncos and Cowboys will be grateful for the week off, while the Roosters and Storm will have to go to battle without their Origin starts once again.
All eyes will be on the Rabbitohs on Friday night as they take on an under strength Roosters outfit. Another match League lovers will be keeping and eye on is the Panthers v Sea Eagles as Daley Cherry-Evans will look to make his mark and prove to the Queensland selectors he’s their man for the future.

The Panthers now sit two wins out of the top 8 and will face a tough challenge this weekend against the third place Sea Eagles. The Panthers lost by 28 points to the Rabbitohs last week and will have to practice their defence this week if they are to consider themselves a chance against the Third placed Sea Eagles. The Sea Eagles had a tough 26 – 22 win over the Warriors. Coming from behind after giving the Warriors a 16-point head start after 20mins. Daley Cherry-Evans will again lead his side around the park and will look to Taupau and Lawrence to go forward. A win here for the Sea Eagles will position them in outright second place.

Storm $2.25 v Eels $1.65
The Storm will be with out 6 of their regular first graders this weekend and will face a tough challenge against the Eels. The Eels won by in golden point against the Bulldogs last week and a win here will secure their place in the top 8. The Storms young guns will make a match of this battle though but The Eels experience will be the difference.

Bulldogs $1.39 v Knights $3.02
The Knights were terrible against the Tigers and when they needed to step up and compete made errors. The “Battle of the Bottom” saw the Knights handed a 21-point flogging in front of their home crowd. The Bulldogs played a tough second half against the Eels and lost in Golden point by 1. The Bulldogs didn’t show up in the first half and crawled back to level scores in the 69th minute. The Bulldogs have played tough all year and just missed out on the points.
