A big week of upsets in Round 10 saw us only tip at 25% success. Round 11 kicks off on Thursday night with the Sharks taking on the Cowboys, which will be a big game for both sides. An exciting weekend of Rugby League lies ahead as this weekend will be player’s last chance to state their claim for State of Origin selection.

ROUND 11

Sharks $1.48 v Cowboys $2.65

A big game this Thursday night for the Cowboys, as a win will mean they will keep their position in the top 8. Thurston hasn’t been named for the Cowboys today though we won’t be surprised if he takes field. The Sharks had a tough hit out with the Dragons and came away with a four point win. This week will be another tough game for both sides but I think the Cowboys will be too good. Cowboys by 4

Warriors $1.48 v Dragons $2.65

The Warriors played out of their skin for 40mins against the Panthers last week and made the record books for all the wrong reasons. If the Warriors can play for the full 80mins they will be tough for any side to beat. The Dragons looked better against the Sharks and went into half time leading by 2 points. Still looking a little unsettled without Gareth Widdop I think the Warriors ball movement combined with big forwards, will be the difference. Warriors by 8

Broncos $1.18 v Tigers $4.75

The Tigers copped a 20 point thrashing at the hands of the Rabbitohs last week. They looked soft in the middle and did not offer much in attack. With Mitch Moses departing this week for the Eels, it will be interesting to see how the Tigers respond. The Broncos have been consistent all season and a win could mean their first claim for the top of the table this year. The Broncos got off to a slow start against the Sea Eagles, but finished strong to show why they are genuine premiership favourites. Broncos by 20

Titans $1.60 v Sea Eagles $2.35

The Titans attack proved themselves against the leagues best defence last weekend, in a match that saw more than 70 points scored. Titans’ players will definitely be going into this clash confident. Manly came out of the blocks firing against the Broncos and scored 14 points with in a many minutes. Unable to maintain this lead, the Sea Eagles went to sleep early and allowed the Broncos back into the game to score 24 unanswered points to claim a 10 point victory. Titans by 14

Eels $2.25 v Raiders $1.55

The Eels got smashed by 38 points last weekend at the hands of the Roosters. This week will be the debut at the club for Mitchell Moses joining the Eels from Tigers this week. The Raiders embarrassingly lost to the Knights by 14 points and are currently sitting in 10th spot on the ladder. The Raiders inconsistency has let them down this season and will have to fond that if they want to make the top 8 this year. I the Raiders will win this match but in a close one. Raiders by 4

Knights $3.70 v Panthers $1.28

The Knights beat the Raiders convincingly and if they can put together a similar performance this week they will give them self every opportunity. The Panthers definitely brought it home against the Warriors and scored 5 unanswered 2nd half tries to take an 8 point victory. This game will be tough to pick as both teams will be coming in highly confident. But we’ll back the Knights to go 2 in a row. Knights by 4

Bulldogs $2.65 v Roosters $1.48

The Bulldogs were ordinary with out Reynolds and offered nothing in attached against the Cowboys. The Roosters are coming off a 38 point victory and will be taking every ounce of confidence from that into this weeks match against the Bulldogs. The attacked looked at its best and their defence was tough and fearless. Roosters to take the win. Roosters by 20

Rabbitohs $3.05 v Storm $1.38

The Rabbitohs looked back to their best last Friday night beating the tigers by 20 points. The Rabbitohs forward did their job and Cody Walker at fullback was exciting to watch. The Storm are still the competition leaders despite going down to the Titans by 2 points. The Storms defence was asked lots of questions and saw them let in an uncharacteristic 38 points. I think the Storm would be hard at it this week and will be working hard to rectify their defensive holes. Storm by 8
