NRL Round 10 – Expert Betting Tips & Odds

After a great weekend of International Rugby League. It’s time to enter round 10 of the 2017 NRL season. Round 10 is Indigenous Round and will see all 16 clubs wearing new jerseys with indigenous artwork to celebrate. All clubs at the moment are suffering the mid-year injury burden. This a great opportunity for club depth to be tested and for the young stars of the future to take their opportunities. With Jonathon Thurston injuring his shoulder in Friday night’s test against New Zealand, this present huge opportunity for Daley Cherry-Evans and other halves to put their best foot forward to impress Queensland coach Kevin Walters.

Round 10

Bulldogs $1.60 v Cowboys $2.35

It’s been a tough year of injuries for the Cowboys, who are currently missing some big name stars including Matt Scott, Jake Granville, Lachlan Coote, Shaun Fensom and now Jonathon Thurston. The Cowboys had a tough month missing Thurston through injury and his most recent injury, we could see the Cowboys sliding down the ladder in the coming weeks. The Bulldogs will also be without their star half back this week, as Josh Reynolds is set to miss a month with a hamstring injury. The bulldogs however will Welcome Back Will Hopoate from injury who looked impressive on the weekend, representing Tonga. I think the Bulldogs will be too good. Bulldogs by 14

Dragons $3.23 v Sharks $1.35

The Dragons have lost their way since losing Gareth Widdop to injury. Add in the loss of Josh Duggan to the mix and I think the Dragons will struggle to have what it takes to win until their side is back to full strength. The Sharks beat the Tigers in their last outing and are currently sitting 3rd on the premiership ladder. The Sharks have been in form this season and are stating their claim as to why they were the 2016 premiers. The will name an almost full strength side to take on the Dragons and this will make the difference.  Sharks by 12

Tigers $2.00 v Rabbitohs $1.81

This match will be anyone’s for the taking. It will highly depend on which team turns up on the night. Both teams have been rocks and diamonds this year and have been a tipster’s worst nightmare. Both teams lost their previous games, but I think the Tiger’s will have the edge. Things have looked to of turned things around at the Tigers under the guidance of Ivan Cleary and I think they will get the job done this weekend. Tigers by 10

Panthers $1.80 v Warriors $2.00

The Panthers didn’t start playing football until the 65th minute against the Broncos and were losing by 22 points to 0 going into half time. If the Panthers want to be competitive against the Warriors, they must start from the kick off. The Warriors showed good form to beat the Roosters and I believe their combinations will be growing from week to week as the finals near closer. I think the Warriors will have too much flair for the Panthers. Warriors by 16

Storm $1.35 v Titians $3.20

The Titans have been in good form the last 2 weeks, first beating the Sharks then handing the Knights a 30 point thrashing in Round 9. If they Titans can maintain this winning edge and consistency, they could be the danger team of the competition.  The Storm are still the competition leaders and their tough defence and work ethic each week is what keeps them there. Storm by 8

Sea Eagles $2.36 v Broncos $1.60

This will be a big game for both team’s halves, potentially their origin auditions. Both teams are coming off wins, with the Sea Eagles beating the Rabbitohs by 38 points and the Broncos beating the Panthers by 14. The Broncos will have a few battered and bruised International representatives fielding 7 players for their respective nations. I think this might just be the enough to give the Sea Eagles the edge. Sea Eagles in a tight one. Sea Eagles by 4

Knights $4.45 v Raiders $1.21

The Knights have still failed to find their second win of the season, going down to the Titans in their last outing by 30 points. The Raiders will be missing forward Josh Papalii, though will have a strong side to steak their claim for a top 8 position. Raiders by 20

Roosters $1.50 v Eels $2.58

The Roosters lost by 1 point against the Warriors in Round 9 and The Eels put the Cowboys to the sword in Townsville winning 26 – 6. There’s a lot riding on this game for the Eels, a win could see them cement there spot in the 8, a loss could see them slide down as far as 11th Pending other results. The Roosters will be looking to get back into the winner’s circle and show why they are a finals contender in 2017. I think the Roosters big mobile forward pack will be the advantage in this game. Roosters by 6
