One thing was made clear in round 7 of the NFL – the New England Patriots deserved their place as Super Bowl favourites.
Tom Brady’s men scored a dominant win in the Super Bowl rematch, but teams such as the Eagles, Cowboys and Steelers said “don’t forget about us” last week.
There are some marquee games this week and it kicks off when the Ravens play the Dolphins on Friday afternoon.

11:25am Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins
Not much is going right for the Ravens at the moment after losing four of their last five games.
The Ravens started the season 2-0 and looked good in the process, but recent losses to the Bears, Vikings and Steelers have put them on the back foot.
Trending in the other direction is the Dolphins which have won their last three games. That winning streak came after losing 20-0 to the Saints, so it has been an incredible turn around in form.
We think the Ravens will come out with more passion this week and the bookmakers agree.

12:30am Cleveland Browns vs. Minnesota Vikings
It’s tough to say whether the Browns have been unlucky this season or just bad, but their close losses must be taking a toll.
The Browns fell to 0-7 season on the season after another nail-biting loss on Monday, but a change in country could help them abolish their demons.
That’s not going to be easy against a Vikings team which improved to 5-2 and are looking like a genuine playoff contender.
The games played in England this season haven’t been overly exciting and we’re predicting a similar outcome as the Vikings roll.
Betting tip: Vikings –7.5 @ $1.89 (BET NOW)

4:00am Buffalo Bills vs. Oakland Raiders
The Bills will be hoping to remain unbeaten at home after starting the season 3-0 at New Era Field.
The men from upper New York scored a three-point win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week in a game they could have won by double digits.
The Raiders also scored a narrow one-point win, but there’s was much more dramatic. The Raiders had to fight back from a seemingly impossible position to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, but they got it done on the final play of the game.
Oakland desperately needed the win and they need to continue winning to have any chance this season. Bookmakers have them as three-point underdogs and there’s value there.
Betting tip: Oakland +3 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

4:00am Cincinnati Bengals vs. Indianapolis Colts
We’ll be honest and say this isn’t going to be a football spectacular.
The Bengals looked to get their season back on track in round six, but that was derailed by the impressive Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.
Punters are having a hard time trusting the 2-4 Bengals, but they’re having an even harder time trusting the Colts.
The Colts suffered a humiliating loss to the Jaguars last week (27-0) and fill-in quarterback Jacoby Brissett had no answer.
This should be an easy win for the Bengals.
Betting tip: Bengals –10 @ $1.87 (BET NOW)

4:00am New England Patriots vs. L.A Chargers
The real New England Patriots stood up against the Atlanta Falcons and it’s tough to see them getting tested again this season.
The Patriots put on a clinic against the Falcons and it came on offense, defense and special teams. A couple of key blocked field goal attempts kept the Falcons off the scoreboard early and that doesn’t bode well for the Chargers.
After starting the season 0-4, the Chargers are on the charge after winning three straight games. That run will likely end this Monday as Tom Brady and the Patriots just have too much class for the visiting team.
Betting tip: Patriots –7 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Patriots by 10
4:00am New Orleans Saints vs. Chicago Bears
Punters shouldn’t overlook the Saints as Super Bowl contenders this season and they’re coming along nicely at 4-2.
Four consecutive wins against the Panthers, Dolphins, Lions and Packers have put them back on the map in the NFL and the Bears should be worried about slowing down their offense.
The Bears are on a good run themselves after beating the Ravens and Panthers in consecutive weeks, but coming up against Drew Brees poses another threat.
He loves to pass downfield and we think the Bears defense isn’t ready for the barrage of big passing plays.
Betting tip: Saints –8.5 @ $1.89 (BET NOW)
Saints by 12
4:00am New York Jets vs. Atlanta Falcons
What’s going wrong with the Atlanta Falcons this season? That’s the question punters have been asking from the outset.
They fell to 3-3 on the season after getting hammered by the Patriots and that loss came after two straight defeats to the Dolphins and Bills.
Something isn’t quite clicking for the Falcons which have one of the best rosters in the NFL, but something isn’t clicking for the Jets either.
The Jets blew a 14-point lead against the Dolphins last week and that loss will be tough to get over, but there were some good signs.
There’s a season why the Falcons are only –4.5 favourites for this game and bookmakers are expecting a close contest.
Betting tip: Falcons –4.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)

4:00am Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Eagles continue to soar and despite looking only fair in the early stages against the Redskins, they quickly found their groove.
The 34-24 win was a good victory and it took the Eagles to 6-1 on the season. It also established dominance in a division which also features the Cowboys, Redskins and Giants.
The 49ers sit last in their division with seven consecutive losses to start the season. After a string of close losses, the 49ers were finally blown out by the Cowboys and unfortunately for them, another thrashing looms this week.
Betting tip: Eagles –12 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Eagles by 30
4:00am Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers
Both the Buccs’ and Panthers are in desperate need of a win.
The Buccs’ have lost their last three games by a total of 13 points and that must be frustrating for the young team. Two of those losses have come against quality opposition and that bodes well for this game against the Panthers.
Carolina were looking good at 4-1 on the season, but losses to the Bears and Eagles have derailed their season.
The Panthers suffered a 17-3 loss to the Bears last week in what was one of its worse performances in recent history.
A big change in tactics is going to be needed from the Panthers, but the Buccs’ look the hungrier team.
Betting tip: Buccaneers to win @ $1.77 (BET NOW)
Buccaneers by 7
7:05am Seattle Seahawks vs. Houston Texans
The Seahawks are starting to look like the team that was well-favoured to win the Super Bowl.
After suffering a loss to the Titans, the Seahawks have won three straight games and its 16-10 win over the Rams was the best of the bunch.
Facing the Texans this week won’t be easy for the Seahawks, which hasn’t faced a quarterback like Deshaun Watson this season.
Watson has led the Texans to a 3-3 record despite some key injuries and the potential Rookie of the Year is already amassing good passing numbers.
Playing against Seattle in Seattle is a challenge Watson hasn’t faced yet and without their key defensive players, the Texans might struggle to get the win.
Betting tip: Seahawks –5.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Seahawks by 10
7:25am Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys
Two 3-3 teams clash here as the Redskins take on the Cowboys in a divisional showdown.
The Cowboys rebounded well against the 49ers last week, winning 40-10, and it was a much-needed win for a franchise which didn’t look good losing to the Packers and Rams.
The future for Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is up in the air after their disappointing loss to the Eagles on Tuesday and it’s amazing what one loss can do to a team.
They were high-flying after beating the Raiders 27-10 earlier this season, but two losses since then and a narrow win over the 49ers has sent them backwards.
The Cowboys have won two games on the road this season and another could be looming here.
Betting tip: Cowboys to win @ $1.80 (BET NOW)
Cowboys by 3
11:30am Detroit Lions vs. Pittsburgh Steelers @ Ford Field
Last week’s bye came at a good time for the Lions, which were struggling after losing to the Saints and Panthers.
The season started well for the Lions, but a controversial loss to the Falcons has since seen them take a backwards step.
Injuries to some key offensive players has put quarterback Matt Stafford in a tough position and coming up against the Steelers this week won’t make life any easier.
The Steelers were impressive against the Chiefs and Bengals in consecutive weeks and they have seemingly found their groove.
The bookmakers have the Steelers are firm favourites and it’s tough to see the Lions winning this game, despite the rest.
Betting tip: Steelers –3 @ $1.91 (BET NOW)
Steelers by 9
11:30am Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos
Bounce back has been the term for both teams this week as the Chiefs and Broncos look to rebound after two straight losses.
The Chiefs have lost to the Steelers and Raiders in consecutive weeks and the Broncos dropped games against the Giants and Chargers.
Arguably the Chiefs’ losses have been against better opposition, but for a team which was rolling at 5-0 on the season two weeks ago, it’s a concern.
Bookmakers have the Chiefs was dominant favourites at $1.30 which looks about right given the injury concerns for the Broncos.
We have to agree with the bookmakers and the Chiefs should be the better team here.
Betting tip: Chiefs -7 @ $1.92 (BET NOW)
