We are left with only one unbeaten team in the Kansas City Chiefs after the Atlanta Falcons shockingly lost to the Buffalo Bills.
With New England struggling to find its best form, the competition has opened right up and we still believe the $31 for the Carolina Panthers (that just beat the Patriots) is great value.
Round 5 includes some great betting games which kicks off on Friday with a must-win game for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots.
Green Bay vs. Dallas should be a fun game and Kansas City vs. Houston will excite fans on Monday afternoon.
One game set to thrill is the Chargers vs. Giants game. Both teams are 0-4, but one team (hopefully) will come away with the much-needed win.

11:25am Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New England Patriots
Bookmakers are expecting this game to be close and it’s only for one reason – the Patriots look shocking on defense.
We all know the Patriots are great offensively behind quarterback Tom Brady, but giving up 32 points per game is not like the Patriots and it’s something they’ll need to address if they’re even hoping to make the playoffs.
The Buccs’ score an average of 23.7 points per game and those stats won’t trouble the Patriots, so we’re expecting a more complete performance from the visiting side.
Betting tip: Patriots –5.5 @ $1.90 – (BET NOW)

4:00pm Indianapolis Colts vs. San Francisco 49ers
Punters should treat this as two 0-4 teams looking for their first win because the Colts’ only win came by three points against the Browns.
Arguably the 49ers have looked the more impressive this season, losing close games to the Seahawks, Rams and last week against the Cardinals in overtime.
They are long overdue a win this season and the 49ers might be the more desperate team, despite playing away from home.
We’ll take the outside odds available for the “better” side.
Betting tip: 49ers to win @ $2 (BET NOW)
Saints by 10
4:00am Cincinnnati Bengals vs. Buffalo Bills
The Bengals are one of the worst teams in the NFL so far this season and it’s likely not going to get any easier from here on out.
The Bengals have won only one game which came against the Browns and they are giving up more points than they’re scoring (16.8 to 16).
Buffalo Bill fans have something to get excited about after beating the Falcons and the Broncos on consecutive weeks. Their only loss came narrowly to the Panthers and the Bills could be an underrated team this season.
Strangely enough the bookmakers have the Bengals as the favourites, so we’ll jump all over the Bills in this situation.
Betting tip: Bills to win @ $2.38 (BET NOW)
Bills by 10
4:00am Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals
The Eagles might have only narrowly defeated the Chargers last week, but they were impressive throughout the game for the most part.
Under quarterback Carson Wentz, the Eagles were able to shred the defensive line of the Chargers and make their way down field as they wished.
Their last two wins have come by under four points against 0-4 teams, but they did record a quality victory over the Redskins in round 2.
The Cardinals have escaped with two overtime wins against average opponents and this could be a blow out if they’re not careful. They have yet to cover a bookmaker’s line and it should be no different this week.
Betting tip: Eagles –6 @ $1.89 (BET NOW)
Eagles by 12
4:00am New York Giants vs. L.A. Chargers
It’s hard to get excited about two bad teams, but the upside is that one of these sides will come away with the victory.
The Giants have looked better in recent weeks against the Eagles and Buccaneers, losing by two and three points respectively.
The Chargers lost narrowly to the Dolphins, Eagles and Broncos, but they seem to shoot themselves in the foot too often.
Eli Manning and the Giants look the better side and it’s about time they secured their first success.
Betting tip: Giants to win @ $1.52 (BET NOW)
Giants by 3
4:00am Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Steelers were back to their old selves last week against rivals Baltimore Ravens, winning 26-9 in a complete performance.
It was a much-needed win for the Steelers which lost to the Bears a week prior and many fans were left scratching their heads.
A chance to win back-to-back games approaches against the Jaguars which endured a tough overtime loss to the Jets after making such an incredible comeback.
Defensive turnovers led the Jaguars back into the game and they started to look like the team that thrashed the Ravens 44-7 a week earlier.
This is going to be a powerhouse battle against two physical teams and we’re predicting a game close.
Betting tip: Jaguars +8 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Steelers by 5
4:00am Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets
The Browns have come close this season with two three-point losses.
They lost by three to the Steelers and the Colts, but for the most part it has been another poor season from the once-proud franchise.
Coming up against a confident Jets team could be a problem for the Browns. The Jets suffered consecutive losses against the Bills and Oakland, and it looked as though head coach Todd Bowles might be on his last legs, but two weeks can make a big difference.
The Jets won 20-6 against the Dolphins before beating Jacksonville last week and those two wins will have their confidence sky high.
Expect that to continue this week as the road underdogs.
Betting tip: Jets to win @$1.96 (BET NOW)

4:00am Detroit Lions vs. Carolina Panthers
This is going to be a great game as two title contenders face off against each other.
The Lions have looked great this season and should really be undefeated after losing to the Falcons in horrible fashion.
They were hard done by in the final moments of the game when it looked as though they had scored the game-winning touchdown, but they recovered from the loss to beat the Vikings last week.
The Panthers also rebounded after losing to the Saints by beating the Patriots 33-30 last week. That performance was a good mix of offensive and defensive power which will do them wonders going forward.
Cam Newton remains one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the league, but the can the Panthers figure out the Lions on defense?
This is going to be tight and we think the Panthers are a great team, but this situation is good for the Lions.
Betting tip: Lions –2.5 @ $1.91 (BET NOW)

4:00am Miami Dolphins vs. Tennessee Titans
All the momentum the Dolphins had after starting the season 2-0 has gone out the window.
Losing 20-6 to the Jets and 20-0 to the Saints has seen them start to question their choice of quarterback and it’s usually game over when that starts to happen.
They do get some reprieve by facing a Titans team fresh off getting smoked by the Texans 57-14 and that should give them some confidence coming into this all-important game.
Bookmakers have no current odds for this game due to the injury of Titans QB Marcus Mariota. If he plays we favour the Titans, but the Dolphins should win if he doesn’t.
It didn’t look good so we’ll presume he’s not playing.
Betting tip: Dolphins to win (BET NOW)

7:05am Oakland Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens
What has happened to the Raiders in the last two weeks?
The Oakland side was cruising after beating the Titans and Jets to open the season, but poor losses to the Redskins and Broncos have put them on the back foot.
What’s even worse for the Raiders is looking quarterback Derek Carr to injury for the second straight season. He has the x-factor and we don’t know how far they can go without Carr at the helm.
This is a difficult game to predict against the Ravens, which also started 2-0 before dropping their next two games.
The Ravens have scored only 16 points in their last two games and have given up 70. That’s not a good statistic and even a banged-up Raiders team could put a number on them.
Betting tip: Raiders –2.5 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Raiders by 6
7:25am Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers
The confidence of the Cowboys’ faithful took a hit last week when being defeated by the L.A. Rams 35-30.
That was a game the Cowboys let slip and it look the shine off a team that looked in control throughout the season to date.
Wins against the Cardinals and Giants might have made the Cowboys look better than they are this season, but the real test comes now against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
The Packers lost to Atlanta in week 2, but have rebounded by beating the Bengals and Bears the last two weeks. Granted, those teams aren’t great, but Rodgers has been at his best and the Cowboys secondary will need to be on hot alert.
The Cowboys will use their rushing game and the Packers will go through the air in what should be a classic.
Betting tip: Packers to win @ $2.05 (BET NOW)
Packers by 7
7:05am L.A. Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Rams looked the business against the Cowboys last week and they should build nicely from that.
Jared Goff has shown his ability to throw down-field and his statistics read well. The rookie has thrown seven touchdowns and only one intercept, which is great going for a young QB.
Running back Todd Gurley has made plenty of yards on the ground and they’re starting to click as a unit.
The Seahawks turned around a half-time deficit to beat the Colts and that will give them confidence, but reality is they’re not a great team and playing away from home they’re even worse.
Betting tip: Rams –1 @ $1.90 (BET NOW)
Rams by 9
11:30am Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs
What a game we have in store here as the undefeated Chiefs play the raging-hot Houston Texans.
The Texans scored an emphatic 57-14 win over the Titans last week in what was a dominant defensive display. They are stingy on the defensive side, holding teams to under 310 yards per game and that bodes well against the Chiefs that go for over 430 yards a game.
The Texans are still a work in progress with the likes of DeShaun Watson at quarterback. The rookie has a good future ahead of him, but he’s up against one of the more professional QB’s in Alex Smith.
Smith led the Chiefs in a comeback win over the Redskins on Tuesday and despite many thinking this could be a letdown spot for the Chiefs, it’s hard to go past them.
Kareem Hunt is out of this world for a rookie running back and Smith knows how to control the game.
Chiefs backers are getting a good price here.
Betting tip: Chiefs to win @ $1.80 (BET NOW)

11:30am Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings
The Bears looked good beating the Steelers two weeks back, but that might have been a flash-in-the-pan performance.
There has been talk that the Bears will start a new rookie quarterback, which is why bookmakers haven’t set odds yet, but is that enough to beat the Vikings?
The Vikings lost to the Lions in a tight contest, but there was merit in that performance and although their form has been inconsistent this season, beating the Bears shouldn’t be too hard.
We’re expecting the Vikings to be slight favourites, but the Bears might get up for this game.
