NFL Week 3 Predictions
—
Friday 22/9/23
10:15am New York Giants vs San Francisco 49ers @ Levi’s Stadium
The 49ers are one of the best teams in the NFL, and they should be far too good for the Giants.
New York scored a come-from-behind win against the hapless Cardinals last week, but they lost Saquon Barkley to injury.
That should be enough for the 49ers to run straight through them.
Betting tip: 49ers –10.5 @ $1.90

Monday 25/9/23
3:00am Tennessee Titans vs Cleveland Browns @ Cleveland Browns Stadium
We were impressed with the Titans performance last week, and they’re good enough to score an upset win on the road.
They could take down the Browns, who are fresh off losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the rivalry game, but they also lost their running back Nick Chubb.
Expect the Titans to keep it close.
Betting tip: Titans +3.5 @ $1.90
Titans by 6
3:00am Atlanta Falcons vs Detroit Lions @ Ford Field
We love what the Falcons are doing this season, and we’re happy to back them until they lose.
They are 2-0 after coming back late last week, which was a tidy performance. They could take advantage of the Lions, who took a confidence hit last week.
This game is up for grabs, and we’re taking the value.
Betting tip: Falcons @ $2.45
Falcons by 7
3:00am New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers @ Lambeau Field
We didn’t expect much between them with bookmakers and that’s the case.
Green Bay is a $1.77 favourite to keep its solid form going, but the Saints are 2-0, and they’re looking good with Derek Carr at the helm.
We’re happy to take another road underdog.
Betting tip: Saints @ $2.05
Saints by 7
3:00am Denver Broncos vs Miami Dolphins @ Hard Rock Stadium
It has been an impressive start for the Dolphins with two road wins, and quite the opposite with the Broncos with two road losses.
We thought bookmakers would have the line close to double digits, so we’re locking in the Dolphins –6.5 as one of the value lines of the day.
Betting tip: Dolphins –6.5 @ $1.90
Dolphins by 13
3:00am Los Angeles Chargers vs Minnesota Vikings @ U.S. Bank Stadium
One team will score their first win of the year, and the pressure is more on the Vikings to win at home.
They have had chances to win, but Kirk Cousins and the offence haven’t got it done. However, against this Chargers defence, they should have many opportunities.
Take the Vikings at the generous head-to-head line.
Betting tip: Vikings @ $1.88
Vikings by 7
3:00am New England Patriots vs New York Jets @ MetLife Stadium
Without Aaron Rodgers at the helm, we can’t bet on the Jets with any amount of confidence.
Despite being 0-2, the Patriots have more upside, and they should take advantage of the situation on Monday.
Punters get a favourable –2.5 line, which could move on game day.
Betting tip: Patriots –2.5 @ $1.90
Patriots by 7
3:00am Buffalo Bills vs Washington Commanders @ FedEx Field
The Bills are a team waiting to explode, and they get a good opportunity against the unbeaten Commanders.
Washington has overachieved so far at 2-0, but the Bills are a team good enough to go to the Super Bowl, and the Commanders are not.
That could be the difference.
Betting tip: Bills –6.5 @ $1.90
Bills by 12
3:00am Houston Texans vs Jacksonville Jaguars @ EverBank Stadium
We would have been happy to take a double-digit line for the Jaguars, who should be far too good for the struggling Texans.
The current line is –8.5 for the Jags, and are starting 1-1, and yet to win at home, they should be ready to fire at EverBank Stadium.
Take the line before it moves.
Betting tip: Jaguars –8.5 @ $1.90
Jaguars by 13
3:00am Indianapolis Colts vs Baltimore Ravens @ M&T Bank Stadium
It’s usually a close game between the Colts and Ravens, so we’re happy to take the Colts +8.5 on the road.
The Colts are 1-1 and are good enough to take down the Ravens, who are 2-0, but there are some cracks in their team.
Expect a tight contest between two solid teams.
Betting tip: Colts +8.5 @ $1.90
Ravens by 6
6:05am Carolina Panthers vs Seattle Seahawks @ Lumen Field
It was good to see the Seahawks winning last week and living up to our expectations.
They could be a playoff team this year, and we don’t rate the Panthers very highly with a rookie quarterback at the helm.
Take Seattle to cover the spread.
Betting tip: Seahawks –5.5 @ $1.90
Seahawks by 10
6:25am Chicago Bears vs Kansas City Chiefs @ GEHA Field
The Chiefs should have too much scoring power for the Bears and covering the –12.5 spread is possible.
There isn’t much going right for the Bears, who have yet to win, and we can’t see how they keep this game close.
Bookmakers are likely to firm the Chiefs odds.
Betting tip: Chiefs –12.5 @ $1.90
Chiefs by 17
6:25am Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals @ State Farm Stadium
There are big expectations for the Cowboys, and they haven’t let anyone down yet.
Starting with two wins, the Cowboys should move to 3-0 against the terrible Cardinals, who blew a massive lead last week.
That might have been by design as they’re looking for a top draft pick.
Betting tip: Cowboys –12.5 @ $1.90
Cowboys by 21
10:20am Pittsburgh Steelers vs Las Vegas Raiders @ Allegiant Stadium
There isn’t much between them in the betting, but we’re giving the edge to the Steelers.
They looked good when beating the Browns last week, and although getting up for this game won’t be easy, they should have too much class.
We can’t get too excited about the Raiders, even with Jimmy G at the helm.
Betting tip: Steelers @ $2.10
Steelers by 7
Tuesday 26/9/23
9:15am Philadelphia Eagles vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Raymond James Stadium
Both teams are unbeaten, but the Eagles have much more improvement to come.
They haven’t been at their best, but have still managed to win, which is a good sign.
Tampa Bay has done well to win two games without Tom Brady, but they could struggle against this tough Philadelphia defence.
Take the Eagles to win and cover the number.
Betting tip: Eagles –4.5 @ $1.90
Eagles by 10
10:15am Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals @ Paycor Stadium
The Bengals are in early strife at 0-2, so this is a more important game for them than the Rams.
Joe Burrow hasn’t been at his best, which hasn’t helped, but the Bengals are a talented NFL team.
We’re also not comfortable taking the Rams on the road.
Betting tip: Bengals @ $1.80
Bengals by 7
