Randwick free tips & form

Race 1. (12:30) BRMM Handicap (1400m)

#2 – Regent @ $2.70 – BET NOW

James Cummings lines up this talented three-year-old colt which has been knocking on the door of a win this preparation.

The son of Lonhro finished second behind Screamarr when fresh up at Warwick Farm and his run behind The Avenger last start had plenty of merit.

He got too far back in the run and he fought gamely to the line to finish within a length of the winner. That run will have him fighting fit for this and the Godolphin team has already had great success during the Sydney spring carnival.

Drawing barrier eight will likely see him settle back again, but the pace should be strong up front from Cabeirian.

Race 2. (13.10) IGA Liqour Handicap (2000m)

#4 – Up ‘n’ Rolling @ $1.70 – BET NOW

Kerrin McEvoy rode Up ‘n’ Rolling shockingly last start, but he shouldn’t get stuck on the inside of runners with only three rivals.

The Chris Waller-trained former New Zealand runner was trapped underneath subsequent winner Alward last start and it made good late ground when it got clear.

There’s no doubting that he would have won with some luck, but he gets his chance at redemption here in a small field of four.

The five-year-old won its only start at Randwick by 1.3 lengths and drawing the inside barrier will likely see McEvoy take the gelding to the front.

The odds are short, but there should be little stress for punters and he has more class than his opposition.

Race 3. (13:50) Adina Apartments Hotels Handicap (1600m)

#3 – Interlocuter @ $2.35 – BET NOW

Intercoluter’s form should have a last start win beside it, but the imported runner was relegated after winning at Rosehill.

The Cummings-trained five-year-old produced a stunning turn-of-foot to win and he will be out to make amends after being robbed of a win.

He faces an easier field here and he has form second up which is always a good sign. His form since arriving in Australia has consisted of three wins and a placing, so he deserves plenty of respect and he should be taking this out.

The $2.35 might drop with the natural support for the Godolphin runners.

Race 7. (16.10) Spring Champion Stakes (2000m)

#4 – Sanctioned @ $4.60 – BET NOW

Sanctioned looks a nice type going forward and this distance should be right up his alley.

The son of Teofilo loomed to win in the Gloaming Stakes last start, but he finished second behind race-rival Ace High.

He is built to see out this distance whereas some of his rivals might not be. That will be his biggest asset on Saturday and he will likely find a nice spot from barrier 10 which will give him every chance to finish over the top of them down the outside.
