December 6, 2017 – Wednesday Horse Racing Tips for Warwick Farm & Bendigo

november 6 wednesday horse racing tips

It’s good to see the size of the fields in Melbourne stay solid following a busy spring carnival and Bendigo has come up trumps this Wednesday.

Along with a good supporting card at Warwick Farm, punters have great choice when it comes to horse racing this Wednesday and we’ve found the best tips across both cards.

All odds are with Sportsbet – our No. 1 rated bookmaker. New signups can claim a $501* bonus bet with Sportsbet by clicking HERE.

Warwick Farm free tips & form

Race 1. (14:00) Tabcorp Handicap (1600m)

#3 – Seaway @ $2.80 – BET NOW

Seaway showed just how tough it is when winning last time out at Canterbury.

The Chris Waller-trained three-year-old had to dig deep to score his maiden win. He looked gone in the straight, but fought gamely to the line and kicked back right when needed.

It was the performance of a well-bred colt which could be heading to the group grades, but he will need to show the same tenacity to get past a few of these.

We’ll continue to follow him until he shows otherwise.

Race 2. (14:35) Casino Prince @ Vinery Maiden (1400m)

#1 – Balearic @ $3 – BET NOW

Chris Waller also lines up current favourite Scream Park, but were taken with the performance of Balearic last start.

The three-year-old gelding settle last at Canterbury and he made good ground when nothing else was making ground from the back.

The nose placing came behind Seaway, which could give punters a good form guide in the first race of the card.

His form prior to that included some close-up performances behind the likes of Marble and French Tune – that form should stack up well here.

Race 3. (15:10) Tab Handicap (1300m)

#2 – Star Galaxy @ $4 – BET NOW

Peter and Paul Snowden line up three-year-old filly Star Galaxy, which was a good winner on debut before running solidly since.

The daughter of Star Witness has faced some tough fields since scoring a narrow win on a heavy track at Canterbury and the drop in grade here should suit nicely.

She finished only 1.7 lengths behind Junglized last start which is good form heading forward and it should be competitive in a tough field.

Race 4. (15:45) Theraces Handicap (1000m)

#6 – All Carisma @ $4 – BET NOW

Punters were left a touch disappointed when All Carisma finished second at Newcastle last start, but they should expect a better showing here.

The Gerald Ryan-trained four-year-old has missed a placing in only one of his seven career starts and he will be better for his latest outing.

He’s a runner which finished second behind Stonebrook in April and he followed that up with a 3.3-length win at Gosford.

$4 is the right price in this field.

Race 7. (17:30) Australian Turf Club Handicap (1400m)

#4 – The Avenger @ $3.30 – BET NOW

The four-year-old finished second at his first two starts before winning consecutive races at the midweek level.

The son of Smart Missile won by two lengths at Gosford before narrowly winning again at Warwick Farm against rating 73-rated opposition.

He didn’t fire a shot last start when rising in grade, but this is much easier and the Star Thoroughbreds-owned runner could return to the winners’ circle.

Bendigo form & free tips

Race 1. (13:00) Maiden Plate (1100m)

#1 – Celebrity Rein @ $4.20 – BET NOW

This debutante hasn’t been seen at any public trials which could make it tough to bet on, but the market will indicate just how good he is.

The two-year-old colt by European sire Excelebration is bred to be better than average and the booking of senior rider Craig Williams is a good sign.

Drawing well will help over this distance and we’re expecting a top effort on debut.

Race 2. (13:35) Tab Maiden Plate (1300m)

#7 – Amschel @ $2.80 – BET NOW

It hasn’t quite been smooth sailing for Amschel to date, but an improved outing is expected this Wednesday.

The three-year-old colt fell on debut at Geelong and was given just two weeks to recover before running third at the same track.

He then stepped up in grade when finishing fourth at Flemington last start, which indicates that the stables thinks highly of him.

That run came behind Royal Symphony and this is a big step below that.

Race 4. (14:45) The Bendigo Cleaning Company (1600m)

#6 – Sinjaree @ $3.30 – BET NOW

Sinjaree defeated a handy maiden field last start with style.

The Hawkes-trained three-year-old settled near the back of the six-horse field before producing a big sprint in the straight.

The nose win came over the well-performed Trent and there looked to be plenty of improvement to come from the O’Reilly colt.

Receiving the inside draw should see him settle closer to the pace in a bigger field and he will be tough to run down in the closing stages.

Race 5. (15:20) Race Services Handicap (1100m)

#4 – Bon’s Ghost @ $5 – BET NOW

Drawing wide in barrier 11 isn’t ideal for Bon Ghost, but he has more class than most of these.

The Wendy Kelly-trained five-year-old scored a quality win at Geelong last year before running in the all greys race at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day.

He has placed in only one of his three starts since then, but that has come in stronger fields than this and he hasn’t been too far away.

Expect a better showing here at each way odds.

Race 7. (16:30) McMahon Lawyers Handicap (1400m)

#13 – Royale Effort @ $4 – BET NOW

Lindsay Park lines up this three-year-old which has finished in the money in six of his seven career starts.

The son of Reward for Effort finished only a half-length behind Tamasa at Bendigo last start and that’s strong spring carnival form.

He was a strong winner at Mornington prior to that and there are some good form lines running through his efforts this season.

Drawing the inside barrier should see him land on the speed and be tough to beat.
